| Herman's Hermits - Live At The Hilton |
| One of the British bands of the 60's that were most successful in the USA - other than The Beatles of course - were Herman’s Hermits who were best known for their hit singles 'I’m into Something Good', 'No Milk Today' and 'Mrs. Brown, You've Got A Lovely Daughter'. This Australian TV special from 1966 captures Peter Noone and co. performing live in front of a widly enthusiastic (mainly female) audience. Good quality black and white footage but the audio suffers from the screamers in the audience. This disc contains the orginal 1966 broadcast (complete with commercials) and a 2007 edit - with colourful Swingin' 60s pops-ups, plus a wealth of extras. [108 minutes] |
