- Who can buy MixMash DVDs?
- You must be a professional VJ/DJ or be playing the DVDs in a public location site such as a club, bar, shop, gym, etc to buy MixMash DVDs. The DVDs are not for sale to general members of the public.
- Does my MixMash DVD come with a Public Performance Licence?
- No. It is responsibility of the individual purchaser to make sure that the necessary licences are in place to play MixMash DVDs in public locations. On the Links page we have included the relevant governing bodies and their contact details for most European countries.
- How often will MixMash DVDs released?
- The Pop, Urban, Dance, Indie, Italiano and Español titles are released monthly. We release other titles as and when they're ready.
- How can I buy MixMash DVDs?
- You can buy via the website or call us on +44 (0) 20 7644 8880 to arrange an alternative method.
- Do I have to take out an annual subscription?
- No. You can purchase MixMash DVDs indvidually or by annual subscription.
- Can I change the title that I receive monthly once I have started my annual subscription?
- Yes. Contact us and let us know which disc you would prefer to receive in future.
- How can I pay for my MixMash DVDs?
- Current payment methods accepted are Credit / Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro, Electron, and Solo). You may also pay by Cheque, Postal Order or Bankers Draft but there may be a delay using these methods.
- Are there any Package or Postage charges?
- No. The price of your MixMash DVD includes 1st Class postage within the UK (Airmail to the rest of Europe) and packaging. If you require a specialised mail service, this can be arranged by contacting us.
- How do I know if my order has been received?
- Upon receipt of your order, an acknowledgement will be emailed to you. You can also print off a receipt from the MixMash website straight after your order has been processed.
- How secure are my financial details entered via the website?
- We have taken all necessary steps to ensure that the MixMash store is secure for you. All payment transactions are carried out over an SSL 128-bit encrypted secure connection. The padlock symbol, at the bottom of your browser window confirms this level of encryption. If you click on this, you will see our security certificate, meaning that your data is visible only to us.
- How long will it take for me to receive my DVDs?
- We aim to dispatch all orders within 2-3 working days. If there are any problems, we will inform you.
- Are the videos on MixMash DVDs mixed?
- All the videos on MixMash DVDs are stand alone videos with no mixing.
- Is the track information or your company name displayed prominently over the video?
- We have a very faint watermark in the bottom right hand corner of each video which is hardly detectable. As you will appreciate we must do all we can to protect the artist's content and this is our method of doing so.
- Are MixMash DVDs legal?
- MixMash DVDs are fully legal and we have all the necessary licences for the licensing and dubbing of the music videos. However, it is the responsibility of the user to obtain the necessary licence to play our DVDs in public - look under Links for your local society.
- What is the format of MixMash DVDs?
- MixMash DVDs are a VJ friendly set of two discs of 15 videos each making mixing easy between videos from the same title.
- Can the Pioneer DVJ-X1 (and Pioneer DVJ-1000) play MixMash DVDs in DJ mode?
- Yes, the Pioneer DVJ-X1 (and DVJ-1000) plays the MixMash DVDs in DJ mode and you will be able to cue and scratch the audio and video at the same time. The MixMash DVDs also have no menus so when you put the DVD into the player, it will load and start playing automatically.
- Which region and in which format (PAL or NTSC) are MixMash DVDs?
- MixMash DVDs are region free and in the PAL format.
- What do you mean by format?
- MixMash products can be bought in 2 formats. The DVD format allows you to play your disc in DVD players. The MPEG2 format is a disc with the video files encoded as MPEG2 files, which makes it really easy to drop into most DJ/Video software packages due to the fact that you don't have to rip the DVD and then convert and name the files. The MPEG2 discs cannot be played in a DVD player.
